What is Ultraformer III?
Ultraformer III is a revolutionary non-surgical and non-invasive skin tightening treatment that works by stimulating your body’s natural regenerative processes. It uses highly sophisticated Micro-Focused Ultrasound energy to rejuvenate the three critical levels of your skin’s infrastructure.
How does the procedure work?
Ultraformer III works with geometric precision. Micro-Focused Ultrasound sends bursts of finely tuned ultrasound energy to precise depths to stimulate regeneration. The target tissues are heated to the specific temperature required to induce ‘thermal injury’, which causes the collagen to contract, and then, over time, to produce new and stronger collagen. Ultraformer’s Exact Focusing Technology ensures that the right depth is always targeted.
The Ultraformer III Macro & Micro Focused Ultrasound (MMFU) uses state-of-the-art ultrasonic waves to lift and tighten skin without injury to the skin surface.

Treatments can be repeated 1-2 times a year until you achieve the desired results. We recommend starting with 1 treatment. For severe aged skin, an average of 2-3 treatments are recommended. Results can be seen from 6-8 weeks after treatment. Typically, you will see results after just one treatment followed by the recommendation
Ultraformer does not affect the outer layers of the skin, so there are minimal side effects or risks. However, due to the different levels of Ultraformer treatment available, side effects may vary. You may experience some mild swelling, tenderness or redness after your Ultraformer procedure, which will subside within 48 hours. Rest assured our registered nurses will advise what you can expect in your pre-treatment consultation.
Ultraformer is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding due to the ultrasound technology used.
Your appointment will start with a consultation with one of our registered nurses to ensure the Ultraformer treatment will fulfill your goals.
The procedure starts with a thorough cleanse of the face followed by the application of a treatment grid (full face treatment only). As the Ultraformer device is applied to the skin, warm pulses of ultrasound energy are delivered, causing the deep muscle layer to contract. At the same time, the gentle heat also encourages the healthy, natural process of rejuvenation, stimulating your skin to produce its own fresh new collagen, making skin firmer, brighter, tighter and more elastic.
A full face treatment takes 60 minutes.
As the device touches your skin, you will feel a brief moment of vibration and pin prick heating. What you are feeling during the treatment is actually tiny amounts of concentrated ultrasound energy being deposited below the surface of the skin. Clients have noted some discomfort while the energy is being delivered, but it is temporary and a positive signal that the collagen-building process has been initiated. We rate the pain 4/10, which can be easily managed with over the counter pain relief we recommend you taking 1-2 hours prior your treatment.
Immediate tightening of skin in treated areas, as heat for the micro-focused ultrasound contracts the network of collagen fibers. This will continue to improve over time resulting in rejuvenation of the skin as the support structure is filled out.
Before the Ultraformer III treatment

Ultraformer III is based on ultrasound technology that gives the result of a visible face lift by delivering gentle heat into skin . The treatment is unlike injectables as it will not give you a frozen or puffed-out look but rather a natural skin tightening and a lift that will allow you to keep the character in your face and leave you looking 5-10 years younger!
Your friends will notice that your skin has a new texture, looking fresh and amazing but won’t know what you have done as Ultraformer III produces a natural rejuvenation look!
You will be required to fill in a client consent form prior to the treatment and we will take photos. We will then mark the areas of your face that are being treated, apply Ultrasound gel. Following this the Ultraformer III cartridge will then applied to the face, neck in the desired areas sending high intensity ultrasound pulses focused deep into the muscle layer. As this energy is delivered skin’s natural collagen production is stimulated . This process begins immediately and the whole process will continue for up to 6 months. Over this time you will see gradual improvements as the natural process of the skin.
After Your Treatment
-There is no downtime! You can return to your normal activities immediately after your procedure without any post-treatment restrictions or requirements. Your skin might appear flushed at first, but the redness should disappear within a few hours.
-Avoid hot water when washing the face until the ‘blush’ has subsided.
-Makeup (preferably mineral based) may be applied immediately post treatment.
-Soothing, non-irritating creams or moisturisers may be used.
-Avoid (minimise) sun exposure immediately after the treatment.
-Avoid exfoliation, or any aggressive skin treatment, for at least one week or until all sensitivity in the treatment area has subsided.
-Increase protein intake to boost the skin healing (collagen regeneration) process.
-Highly recommend gentle, regenerative and healing facial treatments (such as Collagen, Oxygen Therapy and LED light therapy) to boost the neoelastogenesis and neocollagenesis processes; treatments can start once all sensitivity in the treatment area has subsided – usually 1-2 weeks post Ultraformer III treatment.
-Regenerative, nourishing serums and moisturisers are the best to use home-care products.
