Depending on your hair and skin type and the area being treated, you will usually require treatments at 4-6 week intervals. Each part of the body has a different hair growing cycle, so the hair loss will vary depending on what phase your follicles are in at the time of treatment. However at least 10 treatments are required for a permanent result.

It usually a takes few sessions to see complete hair reduction. If you’re not ready to reduce all hair talk to your therapist about limiting the treatment plan.

Because we use only the most advanced medical grade Candela Lasers for our laser hair removal treatments, we can treat medium to darker skin tones. We offer two different laser machines, the GentleLase Pro and GentleYag to achieve the safest, most effective results. Our laser technicians use the Fitzpatrick Classification Scale to determine your skin type at consultation, allowing for the most suitable machine to be selected for your hair removal treatment. GentleLase Pro is best for skin types with a fair to medium skin tone. GentleYag is best for skin types with a medium to darker skin tone. Your laser technician will assess your skin at each consultation and treat you using the most appropriate settings for your skin type and recent results. Your settings will change throughout the course of your laser hair removal treatments to ensure optimal results.

One of the benefits of laser hair removal is that the treatment is virtually painless, especially compared to waxing. Each pulse lasts less than second, producing a slight tingling feeling. In particularly sensitive areas, such as the upper lip, it may feel like a rubber band snap on the skin. Our advanced cooling machines used in all laser treatments cools your skin before, during and post treatment to minimise any discomfort.

There are no conclusive studies on laser being safe or unsafe for pregnant or breastfeeding women. If you have any concerns about proceeding with Laser Hair Removal please consult your doctor.

The Full Body Laser Hair Removal Treatment covers every areas of the body, excluding the top of the head.

This will depend on the type of peel used, the condition of the skin, medication taken and general health and well-being. Certain medications and health issues may be a contra indication to a chemical peel as they can increase adverse side effects. Redness, inflammation and mild to moderate peeling is usual for 1 – 5 days post peel. The stronger the peel, the more intense the redness, peeling and downtime.

These treatments, however, have more lasting impacts than our less invasive treatments. At your FREE skin consultation, your Skin Therapist will advise on a personalised treatment plan.

Skin Tightening is designed to stimulate dermal collagen production and help with the regeneration of damaged skin cells. Skin tightening works on both Type 1 + Type 3 collagen which is a fibrous protein, found in the extra cellular matrix (Dermis). This treatment involves heat energy being delivered into the skin to penetrate deep down whilst protecting the upper visible layers and keeping them intact. It does this by deep thermal effect within the dermis causing collagen contracture and denaturation. This will then induce growth factors and stimulate new collagen synthesis which will then replace the old collagen with new fibres that are more compact and organized to give a less wrinkled appearance. Results are seen 2-8 weeks post treatments.
