ABOUT DERMAPLANING

Dermaplaning is a safe and effective treatment that will improve the texture and tone of the skin, deep cleansing the pores and reduce the blackheads and whiteheads, also improve the absorption of vital skin nutrients. The result is glowing skin that looks instantly refreshed and renewed!

Dermaplaning is an extremely safe, non-traumatic, effective exfoliation procedure, it is a method of skin rejuvenation.

We use a sterile surgical scalpel to manually exfoliate the surface of the skin to remove excess dead skin and peach fuzz hair. The sterile tool is held at a 45-degree angle and is brushed along the skin to remove the hair and skin cells.

This treatment has 3 Modes:

Mode 1. Epidermal Levelling

Epidermal Levelling is a gentle method of deeply exfoliating the skin. It involves a medical soft-end blade, which can vibrate 38000 per second, it being worked over the face at an angle, removing the outer layers of dead skin cells as well as any blackheads/whiteheads or “peach fuzz.”

This process leaves the skin feeling incredibly smooth, it also allows for deeper penetration of further professional treatments and home care products.

Mode 2. P-2 Plasma Facial Treatment

Plasma Facial treatment uses advanced technology to generate plasma energy which is then applied directly to the skin using a dedicated hand piece.

Within the skin plasma beam triggers a range of natural responses which can be very useful in treating acne and problematic skin.

1. Destroys Bacteria – plasma energy destroys bacteria both on the skin and within the pores by transfer the O2 into the O3. Although bacteria will recur, the sterilisation can stop the over-activity which causes flareups of acne and inflammations.

3. Aids Absorption – plasma treatment stimulates the skin in a number of ways.  One key benefit is that skin treated by plasma can better absorb any creams or serums that are applied, so that they are more effective.

5. Accelerated Healing – plasma energy treatment stimulates the body’s healing processes, resulting in faster improvement of redness, cysts or inflamed lesions.

7. Skin Regeneration – after treatment, the skin’s regeneration processes kick in. Over the next few weeks, the skin will produce new skin cells, collagen and elastin. This helps the skin to look healthier, clearer and rejuvenated.

Mode 3. Collagen Boosting and Lifting

This mode uses the E-3 Micro-current energy to boost, lifting and tightening skin especially for collagen boosting.

As the mild electrical pulses stimulate your facial muscles, it create a more toned and lifted appearance with regular use – just like a sculpting gym workout for your face. 

 It also boosts circulation, enhances penetration of skincare products, and stimulates collagen and elastin production. It even stimulates ATP (adenosine triphosphate), which is essentially muscle energy: it’s responsible for a number of key processes, such as photosynthesis, muscle re-education, and protein synthesis.

During the whole procedure,  it infuses the active ingredients such as the hyaluronic acids and growth factor (EGF) into the skin and finishes with the add on Mummy Bracket Face Mask which is lift muscles, tighten skin and deep hydration.
