The Cosmelan Home Pack is the perfect way to introduce Cosmelan into your skincare routine at home. This kit enables you to follow the home protocol assisting in the depigmentation action for removing and/or reducing freckles, melasma, acne pigmentation and age spots.

Home pack for the cosmelan® method. Contains the products to follow the home protocol of the cosmelan® professional method. It continuously supports the skin and helps prevent the reappearance of future pigmentation in the long term. The pack contains: – cosmelan 2: facial treatment cream for dark spots. – melan recovery: balm with calming and restoring effect. – melan 130 pigment control: very high tinted sun protection.

The convenient kit includes all the products required to commence treatment of this popular and effective depigmentation program and includes:

Cosmelan 2 – a remarkable and trusted depigmenting topical cream that has an intensive dual corrective & controlling action to reduce the appearance of freckles, melasma and age spots.

Melan Recovery – a superior healing balm which will reduce any skin sensitivity while strengthening the skin’s defenses.

Melan 130 Pigment Control SPF – this is not your average sunscreen, it includes very high factor sun protection with UVB 131 and UVA 67 and includes a depigmenting ingredient to help regulate melanin synthesis. A great preventative to combat our Australian climate and an essential requirement when treating pigmentation.

The cosmelan home maintenance pack contains the products to follow the home protocol of the cosmelan® professional method and helps to reduce the appearance of pigmentation and dark spots. The supporting products in the pack provide comfort and protection to the skin while using cosmelan 2.

Cosmelan 2 focuses on exfoliating the outermost skin layers to encourage revitalisation, leading to a more uniform skin tone while reducing of the appearance of hyperpigmentation.

Melan recovery is an intensive cream with soothing, and restoring properties for sensitive and visibly reddened skin, damaged by sun exposure or the application of treatments that activate a peeling process.

Melan 130 pigment control SPF 50 provides very high sun protection in a lightweight, tinted emulsion. Suitable for all skin types and those prone to pigmentation.

Application:
cosmelan 2: Apply a pea sixed amount to clean, dry skin up to three times a day. If you notice a reaction or any sensitivity of the skin, limit use to once per day or less
frequently and/or layer the product with melan recovery.

SPF protection must be worn during the day whilst treating the skin with cosmelan 2. If you are using cosmelan 2 as part of the cosmelan® treatment protocol, follow the application schedule recommended by your aesthetic professional, which may vary depending on the stage of your treatment.
Melan recovery: Apply evenly to the skin, massaging until absorbed when feeling tight or morning, afternoon and evening layered over cosmelan 2.
Melan 130 pigment control SPF 50: Apply the recommended amount (2mg/cm2 of skin) half an hour before sun exposure. Reducing this dose significantly reduces the level of sun protection. Reapply every two hours when exposed to direct sunlight and especially after drying yourself with a towel, swimming or sweating. Repeating the application is essential to maintain the level of protection. Shake before using.

Precautions:
If any of the below conditions are present, if you are undergoing any medical treatment, or if you are taking medication that causes photosensitivity, seek advice from your doctor before using cosmelan 2.
• Sunburn (avoid exposure to UV radiation for 15 days before treatment)
• Pregnancy and breastfeeding
• Skin diseases, allergies to any of the components of the formulation
• Family or personal history of keloid scarring
• Treatment with isotretinoin, antibiotics, hydroquinone.
• Treatments with hydroxy acids (AHA/BHA/PHA) and vitamin A formulations
• Aspirin allergy
Some side effects can appear during use of this product including swelling, pain or inflammation. If these effects are experienced, we recommend reducing the frequency of
use and/or layer with melan recovery. Due to the nature of the treatment individual results may vary. Product should be used within three months of opening. Colour variance in the product is considered normal.
